Bambu Jewelry

Women Empowering Women

Bambu Jewelry was founded by Nicole Hoffman. After being diagnosed with MS, and going through a divorce – Nicole decided to embark on an “Eat, Pray, Love” trip to Bali where she met a female jeweler, Sukerni. Sukerni lived in a 10×10 foot one room “home”. She cooked, ate, slept in that room with her husband and 2 children – uneducated and extremely poor. Both Nicole and Sukerni decided to launch a small jewelry company that continues to grow and currently employs 12 families in Bali.

Bambu has been recognized by the Indonesian Embassy in Vancouver for their humanitarian work.
