Honouring the courage of those who have battled breast cancer with new neckwear pieces.

Every year, one of the ways WestJet and WestJetters support Breast Cancer Awareness month is through the sale of our custom pink cause pieces, which can be worn in October. This year, a unique project is underway to personalize neckwear options for pink pieces in our uniform collection.  

The new pink ties and scarves are designed with space to include names of those who have been impacted by breast cancer. WestJetters are invited to share a name and story as tribute to their own journey or a way to honor the strength of fellow a WestJetter, friend, family member, or loved one who has battled breast cancer for a chance for the name to be included on the tie and scarf. This gesture is a heartfelt acknowledgement of the battles fought and victories achieved, big or small, in the face of this challenging disease.

As a proud supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and the CIBC Run for the Cure, one hundred percent of the sale price of this item will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society to support breast cancer research, support services, health education and advocacy programs.
